Using the service
We process your account and sign-in information, uploaded files, filenames, media properties, editing choices, generated results, credit balance and payment status to provide the service you request. This processing is necessary to perform our agreement with you. If you sign in through Google, we receive the account details needed to sign you in. We do not receive your Google password.
Your files can contain personal information about you or others. Only upload material you are entitled to use. Uploaded content is sent to our background-removal provider, Bria, where necessary to process it. Files and download links are private, access-controlled service data. Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your requested edit.
Stripe handles payment details. We receive purchase, subscription, invoice and transaction information needed to supply credits, reconcile payments, handle refunds and meet accounting obligations. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
Reliability and security
Our servers process network information such as IP addresses when you connect. We use restricted service records, errors, job status and timing information to deliver files, prevent abuse, resolve failures and keep the service secure, based on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable service. Records linked to an account or project are personal data, even when they contain no name. We retain minimal account-level milestones to avoid counting the same upload, download or first purchase twice, including after detailed optional analytics expires. These milestones remain while the corresponding service account record is retained. We also maintain daily service totals without browser identifiers. We do not use these service records to reconstruct an unconsented advertising journey.
Optional analytics and ad measurement
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and our own restricted analytics database to understand navigation, uploads, previews, processing waits, errors, paywalls, export choices, downloads and purchases. This includes a pseudonymous browser identifier, approximate location and device information provided by Google Analytics, coarse file characteristics, event times and controlled campaign tags. Our own analytics may link these events to your account or project. We do not send account IDs, email addresses, filenames, uploaded media, signed media links or feedback text to Google.
With separate ad-measurement consent, Google may also process ad-click identifiers and associate an upload, completed workflow or first verified purchase with a Google Ads click. We do not enable remarketing, advertising personalization or enhanced conversions using your email address. We load Google measurement only after your choice; rejecting it does not reduce access to the editing service.
You can reject optional measurement, choose product analytics alone, or withdraw consent using in the footer. Withdrawal stops future optional collection from this browser and suppresses unsent server events attached to that consent. It does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Browser choices apply to this browser; repeat them on other devices. We honor Global Privacy Control by disabling optional ad measurement.
Feedback and support
If you choose to send a rating, an issue report or a support message, we use it to respond and improve the result you asked for. Notes can contain personal data: please avoid unnecessary sensitive details. Feedback text stays in our service records and is not included in Google analytics events.
Who receives data and international transfers
Our service providers include Neon for authentication and database hosting, Bria for background removal, Stripe for payments and Google for optional measurement and Google sign-in. Authorized staff may access service records when needed for support, security or operation. We may disclose records where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and processing, and can include an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards applying to your data. Optional analytics consent is not a substitute for transfer safeguards.
How long we keep information
- Completed project media is available for 14 days from its original processing. Additional exports do not restart this period. Unfinished uploads expire after 24 hours. You can request earlier project deletion in the app.
- We keep account and service records while needed to operate your account, handle support, prevent abuse or resolve disputes. Deleting your account disables access and starts removal of its media. Some transaction and security records must remain where necessary for legal obligations or claims.
- Detailed optional analytics in our database is removed after 60 days. Restricted operational funnel diagnostics are removed after 30 days. Daily service totals are kept for up to 13 months.
- Google Analytics event and user retention is configured for two months; Google’s standard aggregate reports follow its separate retention rules. Google measurement cookies are configured for up to 60 days without renewal on every visit.
- Your cookie choice is remembered for 180 days. Minimal evidence of the choice, its version and time is retained for up to 24 months; measurement identifiers and campaign context are removed earlier.
- Required financial administration is generally retained for at least seven years under Dutch law. Backups and provider records follow their applicable retention and deletion processes; deleting live media does not imply every backup disappears immediately.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and, where applicable, portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. Contact the email above; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local supervisory authority.
We do not use optional analytics to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Service rules such as file limits and available credits determine which operations the app can perform.
Updates
We update this notice when our processing changes. Material changes to optional measurement require a new choice. See cookie details and file handling for more information.
