Essential service storage

Sign-in cookies protect your session. Local storage and IndexedDB can hold a selected-file draft, upload-resume information, language preference and current editor state so you can complete your requested work. These are used for the service, including when optional measurement is rejected. Drafts older than 24 hours are not restored. You can clear local drafts and other storage in your browser settings; doing so can interrupt sign-in or an unfinished upload.

The HttpOnly backgroundless_measurement cookie contains a random reference to your saved cookie choice. It lasts up to 180 days. We use it to honor and demonstrate your preference, including rejection.

Optional product analytics

If you accept product analytics, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visits and sessions. We configure their lifetime to 60 days without refreshing it on each visit. Product interactions are also sent to our own analytics endpoint, only while that consent is active. Events waiting to be sent are held in bounded page memory and are discarded when the page reloads or you withdraw.

Optional ad measurement

If you also accept ad measurement, Google can use campaign and ad-click information to measure uploads, completed workflows and purchases. Google ad-measurement storage may include _gcl_* cookies, typically lasting up to 90 days. We disable ad personalization and do not use remarketing lists or email-based enhanced conversions.

When you reject or withdraw

Google measurement does not load before you accept. Rejecting keeps optional measurement off. Changing your choice clears accessible Google measurement cookies, reloads the page to stop an already loaded tag, and informs other open tabs. Any events already delivered before withdrawal remain subject to the applicable retention and deletion rules. You can contact us to request deletion of personal data.
